SP 240 — Synthetic lifetime grease for railway subsystems
Lubricant for extreme conditions, resistant down to −60°C.
General description:
SP 240 is a fully synthetic PFPE-based grease, designed to provide lifelong lubrication under extreme conditions.
Added with micronised PTFE, it forms a solid film that reduces friction, prevents metal-to-metal contact and maintains correct operation even in presence of micro-asperities.
It withstands intensive duty cycles, thermal shock, humid environments and contamination. It ensures performance consistency over time, with wear values and electrical conductivity kept under control.
Approved by SPII for lubricating manipulators and roof-mounted disconnectors in railway driver desks.

It offers wash-off resistance, oxidative stability, anti-wear protection and mechanical integrity even in the presence of solvents, acids and heavy stress.

Thoroughly clean the surfaces, removing greases, oils and dirt.
Apply SP 240 with a spatula, brush or automatic greasing system, in an amount sufficient to form a continuous film.
Do not mix with other lubricants.
Store the product in sealed original containers, protected from humidity and heat sources.
