SW 473 — Fluid synthetic EP grease
Ester-based anti-wear, antioxidant lubricant for railway mechanical maintenance.
General description:
SW 473 is a fully synthetic, ester-based fluid grease thickened with lithium soap, developed to ensure effective, long-lasting lubrication in the presence of friction, humidity and oxidation.
Thanks to its excellent adhesiveness, water resistance and antioxidant capability, SW 473 penetrates rapidly into chain links, guides and cavities, providing long-term protection and smooth motion.
It is ideal for maintenance on both moving components and precision mechanisms, including environments exposed to thermal shock or the elements.
The product is approved by Faiveley for use on its railway components, confirming technical reliability even in demanding contexts.
SW 473 is indicated for:
Chains, wire ropes and cables (including sheathed cables)
Joints, hinges, cams, slides and guide mechanisms
Mating guides and small gears
Plain and rolling bearings
Window winders and tachometers

Shake the can before use. Spray a uniform film from about 15 cm, using short intermittent bursts.
Continue shaking during application to ensure proper mixing.
Avoid prolonged dispensing and do not apply to hot or glowing surfaces.
Use in well-ventilated areas or workshops with local extraction.
