SW 824 — High-strength threadlocker for permanent locking

SW 824 is recommended for:

• Permanent locking of studs and bolts

• Threaded joints subject to thermal or vibrational stress

• Assemblies in compressors, pneumatic systems and railway machinery

• Components exposed to oils, fuels, refrigerants and chemical agents

  
For non-metal couplings or plastic threads, a prior assessment by BBTS technical support is recommended.

Clean and degrease the surfaces thoroughly. Apply SW 824 until the joint is completely filled and assemble normally.

Handling time is about 10–20 minutes; functional cure is achieved in 1–3 hours.
To facilitate disassembly, heat the joint to 150–250°C.

Remove cured residues mechanically and finish with acetone.
