High-stability lubricant for wet environments and heavy loads
General description:
TS 208 is a multipurpose EP grease with NLGI 2 consistency, formulated with solvent-refined paraffinic base oils and thickened with complex calcium sulfonate.
The formulation incorporates Extreme Pressure, antioxidant and anticorrosion additives to provide reliable lubrication even under high and intermittent loads.
The product can be used up to 180°C and stands out for its extremely high shear stability and strong resistance to removal caused by the mechanical action of moving components.
This makes it possible to maintain consistent performance even under severe operating conditions.
Another key strength is its high resistance to washout by hot and cold water.
Unlike greases thickened with calcium and lithium, even in complex form, TS 208 does not tend to lose consistency or to be easily removed in presence of heavy water contamination.
It also offers greater pumpability than traditional complex calcium greases, including in centralized lubrication systems requiring NLGI 2 greases.
TS 208 is ideal for the lubrication of frames, joints, hubs and slewing rings, calender rolls, bushings, bearings of various designs operating at medium or low rotational speeds, enclosed gears and transmission chains in the presence of vapors or abrasive dust.
It is also suitable for heavy machinery such as coal screens, cement kilns, hot rolling mills and pilgrim step rolling mills.

Use TS 208 for the lubrication of mechanical parts operating at medium or low speeds, including in the presence of high loads, water, vapors or abrasive dust.
The product can also be used in centralized lubrication systems requiring greases with NLGI 2 consistency.
