General description:
TS 448 is an ISO 32 lubricant formulated with severely solvent-refined mineral base oils and special ash-less additives containing antiwear agents.
It is designed for the lubrication of reciprocating and rotary compressors, as well as vacuum pumps, in applications where internal cleanliness, operating continuity and component protection are decisive factors.
The formulation stands out for its high resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation, which helps maintain consistent performance over time.
Its low tendency to form carbon deposits helps preserve compression chambers, valves and mechanical parts, while its antiwear and anticorrosion properties provide effective protection for cylinders, sealing rings and moving parts.
The product profile is further enhanced by low volatility, which helps reduce oil consumption, low foaming tendency and high demulsibility, allowing rapid separation of condensed water.
The product is also compatible with seals and with the metals most commonly used in compressors and hydraulic systems.
TS 448 is recommended for the lubrication of single-stage and multi-stage compressors and vacuum pumps.
It can be used in reciprocating compressors with high compression temperatures, in rotary screw and vane compressors, as well as in axial and centrifugal compressors for bearing lubrication.
It is also suitable for compressors for which the manufacturer recommends antiwear hydraulic oils or turbine oils.
Thanks to its demulsifying, antifoam and antiwear properties, it can also be used for the lubrication of hydraulic systems, bearings and gearboxes.

Use TS 448 in compressors, vacuum pumps and related systems in accordance with the equipment or machinery manufacturer’s instructions.
The product is also suitable where antiwear hydraulic oils or turbine oils are required, as well as for applications on bearings and gearboxes where good antiwear, antifoam and demulsifying properties are needed.
