General description:
TS 491 is a PAO-based ISO 320 synthetic lubricant developed for the long-life lubrication of gears, transmissions and bearings subjected to high loads.
The formulation is developed to protect the transmission mechanisms most exposed to micropitting effectively, helping to preserve surface integrity and system reliability over time.
The high quality of the base oil and additive package promotes long service life and a longer useful life for mechanical components.
Added to this are high EP performance, wear reduction, lower friction, lower electrical energy consumption and a significant reduction in noise.
Thanks to its high natural viscosity index and low pour point, TS 491 can be used over a wide temperature range with multigrade behaviour.
The product is part of the TS line, developed by BB Technical Service to meet the specific needs of the industrial sector.
TS 491 is intended for the high-performance lubrication of enclosed gears of all types, plain and rolling bearings, heavily loaded transmissions, guides and chains operating even over a wide temperature range.
It is also used for the general lubrication of machinery in the textile industry

Use TS 491 for the lubrication of heavily loaded transmissions, gears, bearings, guides and chains, always verifying the suitability of the product for the specific application by means of appropriate tests.
The product does not show any particular incompatibility with rubber and plastic components and is compatible with mineral, ester and PAO oils.
